The main caretaker Hafijul is always there to help for any of your needs - responsible and honest. The household help Mohor di is perhaps the most affordable Bengali cook you can find anywhere; her recipes will easily earn Michelin stars beating professional chefs. The host is kind, responsive and super helpful. Every attraction around Raichak is commutable from this property. Look no further for your accommodation needs in and around Raichak. This is a rare find !

MeghBrishti Bari is an incredible Villa at Raichak. The biggest attraction of the villa is the well maintained garden complete with garden chairs and a swing. Every corner of the villa is adorned with stunning pieces of art, be it greyscale photographs, beautiful paintings, an antique Gramophone, a Telephone from the 1950’s, a vintage Typewriter or brass artifacts. The garden has well manicured grass, lotus ponds, bougainvilleas and some of the most beautiful plants I’ve ever seen. It is pet friendly and is great for toddlers too. I loved how they had spotless white sheets and towels which made the experience nothing less than premium. Mohor di and Hafijul we absolutely wonderful. Bhaswati di was extremely sweet and proactive right from the day of booking. She shared relevant information at the right moments and never for once did I feel the need to contact her for anything. Even if I did, she was always approachable.

I was travelling with parents and my infant and Bhaswati made the stay extremely comfortable. During the entire booking process, the communication was clear and the property was exactly as per the listing. It is a beautifully maintained house with an amazing lawn. The caretaker and the house helps were also very attentive. They cooked good homely food and arranged for a bonfire in the lawn for us to enjoy. I would definitely like to go back.

I stayed for two nights at Bhaswati's place to celebrate the wedding anniversary of my parents. The place itself is conveniently located. While I never met Bhaswati personally, she was always available for anything that we needed. In case you need any help, you have a caretaker who's readily available. Overall a great stay and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Bhaswati’s place is in raichak, a place which looks like a village if you don’t stay inside the beautifully maintained homes of the complex and the radisson properties. We had wanted to see the Ganges close by and took a Toto to visit. We were disappointed with the amount of pollution and squalor- almost the entire stretch of the river banks nearby were dotted with chimneys belting black smoke from brick kilns. So if you want to go sight seeing nearby, you will be disappointed. The inside of the well maintained gated community was almost in another world from the surroundings. Her home was a delight, there were lots of original art, and stylish touches around. The amenities were top class, and the rooms were very clean. The cooks and manager in the property were cordial and genuinely interested in making our stay comfortable. Overall a wonderful experience. Would stay there again!

We 4 family visited Meghbrishti bari on 31st dec. It's very beautiful eden to visit. Attendants warmly welcome us with a cup of tea & biscuits. Interior was so nicely decorated. A lawn with small greenish grass & d boundary with d flowers. Attendants r very co-operative & well behaved too. At 9t they arrange bonfire for us so we can enjoy our 31st & New Year. We overjoyed a lot & it was our best 31st we ever had celebrated.

I requested one of my very close friend to arrange for a short family trip at a nearby location. Got an offer for Meghbrishti Bari at Raichak. Truly speaking I was not very much interested as I was not having very good experience with such bungalows in West Bengal. But I was not knowing what was waiting for me. Hardly a two and half hour ride from Kolkata (by car) and reached there with two friends with their family. A two storied bungalow with three separate AC rooms, having beautiful garden all around the premises, with a huge and very well maintained lush green back yard. Each and every corner of the bungalow found to be decorated with absolute perfection consisted of all amenities which one may like to have during a weekend trip. Hospitality by the caretaker was just awesome...We put a request of BBQ oven only 12 Hrs prior to our arrival..trust me it was arranged and we got a brand new one. Food was quite good and we were also having an option to have it from outside. In nutshell, the experience was simply outstanding and really miles beyond my expectation. Thanks to the proprietor of this Apartment (though haven't met her) for taking such care of your guests. A memorable trip and looking forward to visit again.

Well Thank you Bhaswati Mam for hosting us at your place and listening to all our demands with kind ears. We really enjoyed the place, exclusive decor, rich taste and some good food cooked by Masi over a short notice. We liked you garden cum huge lawn especially due to the fact we had kids with us and they enjoyed like anything there also some good collection of indoor games you have for them. We fell in love with Megh Brishti Bari and all the arrangements. I would strongly recommend this place to all travelers visiting Raichak. This place is really a GEM..!!
